September 25th, 2017 01:16 PM #31With the upcoming tax changes, and this facelift + other upgrades, I wonder how much this new Ranger will cost. I plan on getting the 2017 Wildtrak, but my current dilemma is; I know they're releasing a new one soon. And I don't think the changes are worth the price. I'm not sure. Should I just go for the current model?

look closely at the front grill. zoom in tignan nyo, may malaking ford logo na. hindi na aftermarket. look the the side doors, may parang sqaure trim sidings thereby making it look like boxy wide pickup.
ang ganda neto, mas mukhang muscle pa sa current wildtrak. indeed, Ford is creating a niche market for the ASEAN region, magkarun siguro ng muscle pickup trend dito sa tin
kita mo naman gawa ngaun sa Autobot autoworks, yun older american spec raptor. i saw this last 2014 sa LV, sobrang napa-wow na ako nun

Seems like the 2.0 EBlue will power the Ford ranger in the US.
and "maybe" will replace the 3.2-5cyl and 2.2-4cyl applications in the future ranger and everest hmmm
more power, more efficient and lighter than the old engines

The square things you on the doors appear to be camouflage. Ford and other manufacturers sometimes put foam and plastic panels under the camo wrap to change the shape or hide details.

A prototype in the US had its hood open, the engine appears to be an inline-4 EcoBoost, either a 2.0 or 2.3 (since those two look almost alike).

The 2.0 EcoBlue will most likely replace the current 2.2 diesel, not sure about the current 3.2 inline-5 diesel. Ford also has a new 3.0 V6 diesel which will be an option for the 2018 F150.
The Ranger (and Everest) will get new engines next year according to Ford Philippines managing director Bertrand Lessard.
