Kanina madaling araw pumunta ako palengke para bumili kamote kasi yun kinakain ko pag gising ko. Nakakita ako purple-greenish na parang maliit na kamatis. Tinanong kung ano yun siniguelas pala. Grabe tagal ko na hindi nakakain nun kaya bili agad ako.

Ano pa pala mga summer fruits dito pinas. Yung mga exotic/bihira.

May maganda purpose din pala el-nino. Maganda tubo ng prutas.

Favorite ko sa mga prutas dito sa atin,- papaya, guyabano, mangga, pinya, watermelon, melon, bayabas.... Lately, nakatiyempo ng duhat, kayomito at siniguelas din...... Sarap!

One summer fruit(?) that I really miss (and can't seem to find any nowadays in the market) is kind of a miniature coconut. It is about an inch in diameter and colored green. You halve it and then, there is the white-colored fruit meat inside,(again just like a coconut).... I think it was then called "buli" or something....

durian, mangoosteen, bawno????, pangi???lahat prutas ng mindanao. ang durian lang ang alam ko tumutubo sa thailand, vietnam, indonesia, malaysia, sa ibang lugar hindi namumunga. check davao for exotic fruits of the philippines. if you have it in other parts of our country, they have it in davao, but if they have it in davao, not necessarily found anywhere else in the philippines
also check the rattan berries for super sour fruits. the bawno and the pangi are endangered fruit trees without most filipinos even knowing what they are. the philippine lime called balibadon in surigao del norte and surigao del sur is one of the best and most flavorsome lemons of the world
