    Puto comes white and brown, beige and lavender; large and small, plain and filled,

    In Meycauayan, Bulacan, the egg-filled puto is called putong lalake, the meat-filled putong babae, and the cheese-filled putong bakla.

    I like puto that is moist and chewy. My favorites are goldilocks puto (large white and small colorful) and putong calasiao. I cannot find this in Manila
