May statistics ba na mahahaba ang buhay ng mga hapon because of the type of food that they eat?

Not sure kung me definitive study, but there's a lot of circumstantial evidence. Ung earlier generation ng japanese mahahaba ang buhay. i once saw this report on CNN, this 70+yo guys was giving this 90+yo father a haircut. They also have the world's oldest twins, umabot ata ng 110+ before they died. and what amazes me is that their seniors are a lot healthier in their old age. i once saw this 79yo guy doing some gymnastics moves in a playground...and this 70+yo guys climbing trees with nothing but a rope and foot spikes.

Yan nga yung problem nila ngayon, they have an aging population. More people are dependent on welfare than there are working to fund it. i hear they expect China to have the same problem, what with their one child policy backfiring.

i think they mainly eat grains, veggies, fish. Pag meat naman alam ko beef ang preference.

Take note, earlier generation. Yung current generation, natuto nang magfast food, sigarilyo, etc.

Dunno what to make of the prostate cancer-omega 3 study. Like what some people have said, excess is the devil here. Remember the girl who died from drinking water? And genetics also play a bigger role that previously thought when it comes to certain diseases.

If there really is a link, perhaps there's something you can eat to counteract that? Eating lots of fiber, etc.?

Ang alam ko din, some fish do have trace amounts of mercury. Yung si Ari Gold from Entourage once had high levels of mercury in his system because he once ate too much sushi.
