Sadly hindi ko nagustuhan ang food nila. May nabasa kasi ako sa isang blog na masarap daw ang tapa nila. Pambihira, it just tastes like your ordinary tapa at ang mahal. Binayaran mo lang doon iyong quantity of servings ng tapa pero iyong taste doesn't fit its price.
Same is true with the pancakes. Binibili mo lang doon iyong quantity but the taste doesn't fit its price tag.
Their shakes are good pero nothing special.
How about you what's your Mr. Jones experience?
Tip: Kung kayo iyong tipong family na may magaling magluto hehehe, wag ng bumisita dito. Sayang sa pera.

I also ordered the tapa at Mr Jones. Rufo's still has the best tapa in my opinion.
What I like about Mr Jones are the big servings

Well yeah better kumain na lang sa bahay kaysa mag Mr. Jones kung servings lang. Sayang sa pera.

Hmm interesting. My girlfriend's asking me to take her to Mr. Jones and I did see the blog entries recommending the place.
Thanks for the warning as we'll be eating here in a month's time. Personally, the best tapa I've eaten so far is served by a motel in Pasig...and the servings there are pretty big too.

No don't!!! Bad trip talaga! Harang sa pera. Not worth your money. Mas maganda pang magluto ka sa bahay ninyo. Kung gusto mong mabusog kumain ka somewhere else na hindi mahal. Binabayaran mo dito ay iyong dami ng servings pero iyong quality ng lasa palpak!

Found out for myself. Yeah you were right. The tapa really isn't anything special - it's really oily and tastes more like tocino than tapa. Only real upside to it is the baked garlic bits. That's just my opinion. I'm a little bit incredulous at how the tapa is one of their top sellers - do Pinoys like their tapa oily and heavy on the palate?
Tried the Spanish omelette too. The meat was underwhelming but everything else was pretty good - especially the potatoes.
Definitely not going back here for tapa - I'm going to the Flower Group place for that.
I'll try their chili next time and see if it's any good.
