I just recalled another reason she said why there are fit guys that date overweight women (like moi) kasi walang masyado naa attract na ibang guys. So she practically said, kasi mataba/pangit ka so guys date you para wala sila kaagaw. Double insult again because she assumes I date insecure men?

She did NOT mean to be rude to me but her words gave her away! I saw the panic in her face when I told her "so are you saying pangit ako?" I told my Paulinian friend about it and she said ang taas pala ng tingin ni Female lawyer sa sarili niya. Just because she's accomplished, fluent in Spanish, sophisticated and cultured e she deserves better men than us peasants? I met her I was early 20s so hindi naman ako pangit/fat that time.

Kaya nalilito din ako kasi some men say those things DO NOT matter, some say that it does. The question is, I've known her for almost 2 decades and she didn't have a man all those years Mahilig kasi sa guapo, then when I dated a big guy in the early 2010s, he's tall, maputi and so huggable naman. I can't forget her words na "Are you crazy?". That shows ang baba ng tingin niya sa overweight.

One thing about being fat, I can't dress up as much as I could when I was normal weight. I can't even wear white anymore

I wear a transparent strap kasi without it mahuhulog ang strapless and I like corset tubes kasi it's secure and gives more shape

1. Wala silang kaagaw/competition dahil undesirable ako dahil mataba ako
2. Gusto ng guys sila ang tinitignan so they would date me na mataba/unattractive so they get the attention

It's not even reading between the lines, she practically said it straight to my face She didn't mean to be rude but her words gave her away and she couldn't take it nack na kasi in person conversation. She tried to remedy it but it turned out worse when she said na, she's not saying I'm ugly, hindi lang ako head turner. WTF.

But then again, mali na argument niya because I consistently dated health conscious and fit guys (except for 2) even when I was NOT overweight. Kaya alam ko size 32 ang perfect waist kasi for some reason parati sila 32

Your friend sounds threatened by you with regards to SO. She is probably the jealous type (good luck to the dude). She needed to mentally bring you down so she feels more confident with SO. Its not a simple moment of foot-in-mouth disease (being too frank) since she doubled down by asking even more questions.

So she decided to highlight the only flaw they're aware of.
