    good day... im new here... guys patulong naman ako... dapat ko bang palitan ang toyota 18r gas engine ko... ang body ko eh wrangler type... closed type... sakal ung carburador nya... so kahit papano tipid daw sa gas... ayos pa naman ung makina... total condition... pero in the future im thinking of changing it... ano ba magandang makina ipalit ko dito? thanks in advance...

    kung maayos pa naman makina huwag mo na lang palitan kanya toyota 18R ang inilagay diyan para kayang kaya niya hilahin ang kaha at pang off road. Iyon nga lang kung sakal hindi mo ma enjoy ang lakas ng makina mo. Kung magpapalit kang ng makina diesel na surplus mahal nga lang pero mas mura ang krudo kesa gasolina.

    You will have to change it sooner than later.

    One issue it E10 gasoline. Older engines with carbs will not work well with E10 gasolines. The jets of the carb are affected.

    Another problem is spare parts.

    --

    One engine option you can get is the 4AFE 1.6L EFI. It might be less power than your current engine but the 4AFE is plentiful and parts are common.

    i see... un nga rin po ung advice sa akin... pero kung papalitan ko po ito ng makina... ano po ba ung pinaka safe para sa wrangler... pwede po ba pa post ng engine name/type at kung magkano magagastos ko... salamat po...

    Halos karamihan na ng gasolina ngayon ay may halong e10 na . kagaya nitong Toyota 5k engine ko carburator type gamit ko G5 extreme ng sea oil okay naman .

    Here some gasolines I know that does NOT have E10 (ethanol):

    Petron - choose BLAZE
    Total - choose PROTEC
