may dad's 94 accord nagiidle up every time you shift gears.pinalinis na throttle body. hindi na namin malaman kung bakit ganon.

Automatic transmission or Manual transmission?? give more details or observation reagarding the problem

m/t po yung accord 94.

ganito po yung nangyayari, from 1st gear to 2nd gear habang shifting ngrerev up your engine. example... kung shift at 2500 rpm, shoot up sa 2700 rpm while shifting (not stepping on the gas). same goes with 2nd to 3rd and so...

just the throttle or even the manifold and iacv?

sir speedy, yung throttle lang po yung pinalinis...

would a dirty manifold and/or iacv be the culprit?

the iacv yes. the intake manifold won't affect i pero magdudumi ulit agad yung tb and iacv if hindi mo isabay sa cleaning.

sir speedygot same problem also but mine is a toyota corolla 92 gl 1.6, minsan in the moring pag gagamitin ko start form low idl to high idel tapos pag na ilabas ko na ng garahe umanfar na ako ok nanaman ang idl ko lower then 1000rpm parang 800 0r 900 something like that. tapos ganun nga pag nag shift ako to 1st 2nd to 3rd pag tapak ko sa clutch bitaw sa gas tumataas rpm ko why?

if it's carbbed, have it adjusted... if it's efi it may be that there's too much air in the system so adjust din the idle air valve/knob.
