December 1st, 2008 01:31 PM #13Salamat sa lahat ng replies. So far, nakaka 180km pa lang ako but the way im breaking the engine in is by driving her at moderate speed. No jack rabbit starts or racing with other cars in the highway. 1000-2000 rpm lang. Kaso pansin ko, medyo rough ang idle (medyo palyado) but no more of the usual noise. Checked the dipstick. No more blowby.
However, the fuel consumption has gone really low. 3km per liter! then refuel, now its 4.45 km per liter na. Normal ba to?

At 180km medyo nasa break in stage ka parin. Hindi pa maganda compression niyan, gradually it will seal itself and you can expect better mileage.
