you need to clean your air filter every 2-3months if you use it daily. ac filter is probably dirty too.

Went to Motech Las Pinas to have rear wheels balanced since they were not balanced when I changed tires. One of the rear wheels was already balanced but the other wasn't. Yet they charged full price for 2 wheels. To add to my ire, it took 25 weights/tinga to balance. Feels wrong bruh, never going back to Motech predators

They will charged you for the 2 wheels since both were mounted on their balancing machine. The 25 tinga for one wheel is an overkill unless theres already a significant uneven tire wear.

All new tires, the 3 wheels balanced out of their shop has at most 4 weights each wheel

Maybe it was mounted wrong? Forgot how the colored dots are supposed to be aligned with the valve stem but perhaps it's the exact opposite of where it should be?

i am assuming, we are talking of two shops?

    in some shops,
when one purchases a tyre from a shop, use of their balancing machine is free. one pays only for the weights.
but if the tyre was purchased elsewhere, i imagine, mounting the wheel onto the balancing machine of another shop would have a price in itself, in addition to the price of the weights used.

    25 weights. 125 grams.
is the mag defective? defective new tyre? wrongly installed tyre? hard to say, without conducting further testing.
did this wheel-balancing shop do the tyre installation, or did another shop do it?
if another shop did it, and i was the second shop, i would have difficulty explaining why you needed 125 grams of weights, without invoking any of the above possibilities... and even then, i wouldn't be sure. is it still possible, that 125 grams is still ok?

is your narration of the situation exhaustive?

pls correlate with your other post's comments.

Replaced all 4 tires with new ones last July 13.
Tire shop balanced the 2 front ones. When I asked about the rear, he said only the 2 front ones are important, hence they didn't balance the rear.
I'm not the confrontational type so I just went to Motech today August 5 to have the rear tires balanced, in preparation for a long trip.
They informed me that the rear right was already balanced and proceeded with rear left.
    Breakdown:
Front Left, yellow dot aligned to valve stem, balanced with <= 4 weights
Front Right, red dot aligned to valve stem, balanced with <= 4 weights
Rear Right, red dot aligned to valve stem, still balanced after replacing tire, has <= 4 weights
Rear Left, red dot aligned to valve stem, outer wheel = 15 weights continuous, inner wheel = 10 weights spread in groups of 5, 3, 2
All four rims are in identical conditions in my observation.

If I redo rear left balancing with less weights at another shop, my suspicion will be confirmed

    afterthought.

i would have insisted on having all four tyres balanced.
may bearings din ang rear wheels.
and rear tyres may not remain at the rear, for their entire lifespans.

    in my opinion.
    na-isahan po kayo.
    lesson learned.
    highs!

    personally,
i would bring that last wheel for balancing, elsewhere, for piece of mind.
and unless i saw the other tyre being balanced, i would assume that it hadn't been balanced, either.
