for your strada i think you can purchase a baldwin oil filter from our fellow tsikoteer, zix. that's where i get my baldwin oil filter from for our monty's 4d56. i'm sure meron din siya for your 4m41. btw, he can send it to you via courier too. that's the arrangement i have w/ zix because i hail from the south too

i also get my baldwin oil filters from jason of mister liempo for our sedan naman. ko din iyan kausap

just changed my engine oil and oil filter this morning.

previously mobil mx. ngayon e caltex super diesel api cd/sf lamang yung nilagay ko. mura e. P550 for 5 liters. planning to change it after 5k kms again.

coupled with baldwin filter. after 10k km naman ito. tapos fuel filter na din.

gastos ko P500 baldwin filter + P550 oil.....pwede na.

may nakita akong maliit na tindahan sa may calamba checkpoint. nagbebenta ng zic oil. ito sana rin subukan ko kaso nakabili nako ng caltex oil nung nakita ko itong tindahan na ito.

15W40 yung ginamit ko po.

napansin ko lang e mas matagal talaga mag-off ang oil pressure light sa baldwin kesa sa bosch at oem na ginamit ko dati (tokyo roki filter). nasa 3 seconds bago magoff.

Ang ginagawa ko sa unit ko 2014 Hyundai Accent hatch, outside casa na PMS ko. Per year ako magChange oil, fully synthetic nilalagay ko then change oil filter lang every 6 mos. 2 years of usage, almost 13,500 kms pa lang sa odo ko.

Diesel ba accent mo? Iba ata viscosity pag sa gasoline eh noh? Mas malapot ba mas maganda?

Sa 1600 cc engine at pabaaba emgine dispacement hindi tama ang viscosity grade 50, mas mainam 30 or ang normal recommended 40.

Sa engne ko na crdi 2200 diesel, grade 30 gamit ko, per manufacturer recommendation.

nice info on this, do you have any documentation on this claim that grade 50 is not correct for engines 1.6L and below and its better to use 30 or nomal recommended 40?

sa pagkaka alam ko mga sir, yung oil viscosity, naka depende sa environment temperature at operating temperature ng makina (kung normal driving o racing).

correct me if I'm wrong.

Yung environment na namention, pwde viscous kung sa mainit na lugar, manipis naman kung sa malamig na kailangan cold start.

Pero follow the engine manufacturwr manual kung ano recommendation. Most asian passenger vehicle emgines recommend sae 40, pwde cguro 50 pero magsusuffer fuel consumption kahit pasok sa table.
