......Maaring hindi tama ang pagkakalagay ng mga piston rings (nagaligned ang mga gaps ng rings kaya lumalabas ang oil going to the cyl head's exhaust. Isa ito sa maaring dahilan kaya maputi at mausok ang exhaust. Mabilis ba magbawas ng oil....kinikil pa ba ng mekaniko mo ang rings?

November 18th, 2008 09:20 PM #12hindi.nakita ko kasi nung kinabit nya.my nakita ako binebenta na ga14 na engine asking price nya 10k with papers and transmision.meron din 1 ga13 naman wla namang papers asking price nya 9k.ano sa tingin nyo buy nalang ako engine or pabaklas ko muna yung makina ko tpos pa estimate ko sa machine shop yung gagastosin ko?napapraning nako sa problema ng auto ko.

WHITE OR BLUISH SMOKE?
It can be more easy to fix than you think did you replace the PC Valve? when that thing is bad the oil will jump from the valve cover to the intake.... burning more oil. Try it before to take out the cylinder head and check the pistons rings again, check the spark plugs to see what piston is burning oil.
Well problema talaga, there are only two major possible cause, first maybe the rings were installed incorrectly, this would suck. The second option is the valve seals either were installed incorrectly or they were the wrong ones or they could have been faulty. Not every car part you buy is perfect and could have been flawed at the factory. Do a compression test if it is spot on its, probably not your rings. good luck

November 20th, 2008 10:05 PM #19mga paps,thank you po sa mga advise nyo sakin.napa check ko na yung kotse kanina mekaniko ng tropa ko yung mekaniko nyang yon lang daw kasi nakapag patino ng accord &nissan nyang auto.mali nga daw talaga pagka kabit ng piston ring ko.mauga narin daw yung piston ko kaya need ng pa-rebore yung block ko pinababa ko na makina ko sa kanya kanina general overhaul ata tawag dun?ito yung mga need ko palitan.....overhauling gasket,piston&ring oversize na daw need ko,timing guide,timing chain lower,oil filter,oil,silicon tsaka yung rebore sa machine shop.balitaan ko po kayo next week.maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng advise nyo........................

guys OT lang din ha..palabas na din auto ko galing Top overhaul pinalitan ng timing chains,tensioner,top overhaul head gasket , valves and piston ring...
pano ang tamang pag break in??ilang oras?? ilan dapat KM takbuhin to settle, or anong speed ka dapat...thanks..
