May 21st, 2013 09:55 AM #1Helo again mga katsikot kong mapagbigay tolong kaalaman tungkol dito sa problema sasakyan ko,toyota liteace diesel 2c-turbo.ang nangyari,nang ginamit ni misis di nya pinapansin ung temperature gauge sa dashboard e lumagpas na pala sa kulay pula na hot sign kasi matarik daw pinuntahan nla.sa maikling salita nag overheat nga.kaso naiuwi pa nya hanggang bahay 7 kilometro pa.nung gumarahe my naamoy ako parang gomang nasunog.kinabukasan nang start ko umandar tapos namamatay na ayaw tomoloy.anu na kaya nangyari sa makina.?salamat uli sa mga inputs nyo dto.

Sa haba pa ng tinabo na over heat na eh likelyhood na nanikit na ang piston sa block.
Redondo lang naririnig mo kaya ayaw tumuloy kasi hindi na makagalaw ang piston.
Pahila mo na at ipa-overhaul.

If it's bad, time to start shopping for another engine as well.

It depends on the extent of the damage that's why it's better to have your suking mekaniko assess things first. If there is damage to the engine block, some suggest having the block repaired at a machine shop while i myself would rather look for a surplus block or even fresh engine then recondition it before dropping it in.

I would agree with Vinj. Damage to the engine is hard to repair. If you've only got worn out gaskets from overheating then all you need is a top overhaul but anything worse than that... Well... Let's just say that replacing the engine would save you more in terms of time and resources.

May 21st, 2013 05:09 PM #9Ok salamat nga sa mga inputs nyo dito.so ipaasses ko nga muna sa mekaniko kung gaanu ang tama nang makina.ang problema ko ngaun kung paanu dadalhin sa shop kc ayaw n umandar.nung nag overheat cya nilagyan ko nang tubig ang radiator at reservoir nya halos 4 galons nailagay ko tubig.itenestdrive ko ok naman at naiistart na parang normal ung lng napansin ko madali nang pumalo ung temperature gauge.kinabukasan lng un na pag start ko umandar lng 3seconds tapos namamatay na.salamat.god bless.
