December 28th, 2011 12:41 PM #1Happy Holidays everyone! Tanong lang po. My crack ang cylinder head ng car ko Nissan Sentra. Ano dapat kung gawin? Re surface lang po ba or palit ng cylinder head? Magkano po kaya ang surplus cylinder head? Reasonable na po ba ang surplus head worth 18,000? My engine GA14. Salamat sa reply....

You can't resurface a cracked head, only a warped one.
18,000 sounds expensive. You can buy a full engine for about that much... might want to look at buying a full engine, so at least you have extra parts.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

yup, 18K is already the price of a complete surplus engine c/w manual transmission of that size. just buy the whole engine/tranny assembly and either swap it or just use it for spares.

never have it repaired. lalong sasakit ulo mo niyan. palit ka nalang ng surplus c/h, pa crack test mo muna sa machine shop bago bayaran. if 18k, buong makina nalang bayaran mo.

January 4th, 2012 11:34 AM #5Thanks sa mga Info Guys.... sakit ng ulo talaga im here kc sa iloilo so the price is quite higher compared in metro.... nagcanvass na din ako sa manila it cost 12k whole cylinder head assembly na pero ang prob ko what if my sira pla ang nabili ko after 1 month or more of using... ang hirap kc magtransact ng malayo. last recourse ko nalang ako mismo magcanvas bka kc dinagdagan ng mekaniko ko ung price---- LOL
