    2300 lahat lahat? i think reasonable na yun basta ayus ang gawa. i think labor yun para sa lahat ng oil seals, hindi lang sa valve cover gasket.

    cliff, yun hundreds is just gasket and labor. not inclusive of oil seals. baka ma misinterpret mo ako.

    Had the same problem with my Lancer pizza pie - leak is evident on the bottom of the engine block right at the point where it meets the distributor.

    Checked with Midas - they'll change the distributor O-ring for P 875.
    Got to a local auto supply with a mechanic, got a good gasket for 50 and labor for 150.

    The leak stopped.
