September 22nd, 2008 07:26 AM #1hello po ask ko lng if air flow sensor nga problem car ko....lancer 95 glxi oto ko...may black smoke kase sa tambutso ko na lumalabas pag nirev mo plus medyo mlakas kunsumo ng gas and minsan parang sinisinok cya ung khit itodo mo gas hindi cya masyado makahatak...nagpalit nako ng fuel filter eh....pinacompression test na cya ok naman...magkano ba un?recommended shopS na pwede gumawa? thanks po...

Try cleaning first (use electrical contact cleaner... silicone type) and observing... but if it's black smoke, it might be more an injector issue than a MAF issue. (Usually, a MAF issue gives you poor power and dying at idle).
Also try to clean out your injectors by pouring some injector cleaner into your tank.

Spritz the sensor element with silicone contact cleaner (non-residue forming)... don't touch it, don't spray it too long (you might freeze it and make it brittle). Let it dry, then put it back in.
