    TCI is turbocharged, intercooled. Same engine as the 4d56 of the GEN II Pajero.

    Not sure about turbo cooling on the Starex, but the GEN II Pajero has both oil and coolant lines to the turbo.

    Just read your responses, and also your private messages. Sorry for the delay. We lost power and our telephone lines since last thursday. Got it all back only today. Bayantel lines still down. Only PLDT lines are back in my office.

    kacheck ko lang sa spare Toyota 3C-tdi engine namin, hindi pala kasama yung Intercooler(Radiator/condenser) ba tawag nyan?

    anyways, mukhang simple lang pala... I think... you just connect from the Turbo output, then out to the intake right?

    Turbo-to-Intercooler-to-Intake

    then how much would a Surplus intercooler cost? ano kaya ang brand na pinaka smallest or the most thin/compact cooler? Surplus lang siguro ang bilhin ko kasi mura at pang experiment/fun lang.

    at okey po ba ilagay siya sa ilalim ng van? just 5-8 degrees, at lagyan lang ng protection against rocks and hard surface just like our Aircon's condensers are located...

    tama nga, mas mabuti kung malapit lang sa makina at lagyan lang ng cooling fan para iwas butas, bato o tubig...

    okey lang po ba ang pressure kung kahit anong intercooler ang gamitin ko like from Sportage o Mitsu 4d56 sa Toyo 3C-T namin? some thread I found here says that it may lose pressure if you add an intercooler, but Imo I don't find it negative since intercoolers have small passage.

    o baka puwede rin yung intercooler ng evo?

    someone posted in other thread that 4d56T intercooler surplus costs 3k-4k. Ouch... for spending just to have fun... sana may 2k, kung wala, baka nextyear ko nalang ituloy....

    ano may ok. pa calibrate o carbon clean? kasi napansin ko.. mas mabilis tumaas rpm ko kaysa sa speedometer. pagumabot na ako ng 100 km/hr... rpm ko is nasa 3.5 dati... nasa 120km/hr 3.5 lang rpm. tama kaya ito? caibration ba needed for this? thanks.

    1) para saan po ba yung O/D..?
    2) para saan po ba yung ETC..?
    3) may settings po ba na pwedeng baguhin pa magshift-up ng mas maaga yung matic..?

    sir.. ask ko lang meron kasi akong montero sport 2005 model 4m40 engine, isang araw papunta akong angeles then suddenly nanginig bigla yung body ng montero then parang humina hatak... after few meter totaly nawalan na ng hatak then namatay na engine.. naghanap ako ng mekaniko then sabi injection pump ang problem binaklas injection pump and sabi may kailangan na daw palitan na 4 pcs delivery valve 850 pesos.. then pinapalitan ko.. after ma calibrate... gumanda takbo ng montero ko and after few days, kanina napansin ko from stop then apak sa gas napapansin ko humihinto sa 1.7k rpm then bigla arangkada bigla din taas rpm.. ano po kaya problem ng injection pump? nagpalit din pala ako ng fuel filter... dati ndi ko napapansin yung biglang arangkada/biglang taas rpm kasi pag na achieve ko na gusto kong speed release na ko agad sa gas ngayon need ko pang makitang umarangkada ng "bigla" bago ko i release yung gas.. parang abnormal mo yun dba...

    pag trapik stop and go.. pag go ko ang hina ng hatak humihinto sa 1.6k-1.7k rpm then after few secs biglang taas rpm, biglang arangkada din... ano po kaya problem ng sasakyan ko?
