I have 98 pajero 4d56 tdic m/t, 139k mileage already... Yung sakyan ko po di stable, minsan po pag start tahimik makina at smooth ang takbo at ok ang hatak, minsan naman pag start mapalag makina niya at pag andar di smooth yung takbo parang rough. May itim usok siya pag nabibitin sa akyatan kaya shift to low gear ako at nawawala naman itim na usok. Di naman hard starting one click lang siya at bago rin air filter. Ano po kaya problem? IP timing? Injectors? vacuum? electrical? Thanks po

Baka accelerator cable or rod adjustment? Mahirap mag analize ng intermittent problem.
May itim usok siya pag nabibitin sa akyatan kaya shift to low gear ako at nawawala naman itim na usok. Normal ito. Dapat mag downshift ka.
Di naman hard starting one click lang siya at bago rin air filter. Ano po kaya problem? IP timing? Injectors? vacuum? electrical? Thanks po

Thanks for your reply. Wala bang parang BISS screww yung 1KZ-TE na engine na gaya sa 4G92 ng Mitsu? What about yung idle up para sa aircon, may adjustment kaya yun?
Tsaka nga pala, I now rarely use my van, napansin ko na twing gagamitin ko eh may black smoke pagka-start nya,. Mayroon kaya nagdedeteriorate sa engine pag matagal nang hindi ginagamit. Ang ginagawa ko kasi pag hindi nagagamit ay pinapaandar ko naman ng every week ng mga 15mins. Doon lang naman siya sa unang start may usok after nun habang umiinit may parang konting black smoke na lumalabas, yung tipong hindi mapapansin ko hindi pagmamasdan yung tailpipe. Does it mean na marami ang pasok ng diesel? Normal lang ba ito or do I have something to worry about?

He's referring to the base idle set screw. BISS is not applicable to diesel engines because diesel engines do not have throttle flaps (kind'a like a gas engine on WOT) and bypass circuits that control idle air. Diesel engines run by fuel metering.
As for the 1KZ-TE, kung ayaw umangat ng idle when the aircon engages, one or more faulty sensors may be the culprit or worse, something in the ECU itself.

Thanks for your reply. Ah so ganun pala, parang WOT parati ang diesel engine? Wala naman problema yung idle ng 1KZ-TE engine ko, medyo gusto ko lang kasi babaan yung idle pag naka-aircon. At idle kasi 700rpm siya tapos nagiging parang 850 pag naka-aircon, gusto ko sana gawing 700rpm kahit na naka-aircon. Any solusyons for that?

Your idle settings are very very very good IMO.
Kung gusto mo talaga babaan, pwede naman through ECU remapping. Kaso if the vehicle were mine, hindi ko bababaan ng 700 on aircon kasi maaapektuhan naman yung lamig ng aircon on idle tsaka hindi mo rin mararamdaman ang fuel savings kung yun ang habol mo kasi sobrang sobrang liit lang ng magiging difference kahit heavy traffic pa. Mas mataas pa nga yung idle ng mga nakita kong nissan urvans on aircon-idle. Parang nasa 900+
