1 month ago. Since bagito pko nagkamali po un ginawa kung pag drain sa coolant ng Radiator so ng overheat po at natuyuan ng tubig, namatay po un makina!
fortunately ng turn on po un engine after several times na tinary kung mag start. Tapos nilagyan ko ng tubig til mag normalise ulit un takbo ng kotse.ok naman un lagis walang tubig...after nun hinde na ulit ng overheat til now kinabahan lng ako baka may nadamay na iba.
Mga master ask ko lng po kung pano malalaman kung may singaw un cylider head gasket?
What i did to troubleshoot it un radiator cap tinangal ko tpos nilagyan ko ng impbodo and put some water then turn on the engine hinde naman bumulwak.
Prang feeling ko kase after mangyari un ngababwas ng tubig un radiator after whole day of using the car, 1/4 or 1/2 ng glass of water un nilalagay ko everyday after using the car.un reservoir ok naman normal un water level nya..

To check kung may singaw head, start the car without the radiator cap. let it run until normal temp, Then check for bubbles. Kung nonstop yung bubbles even after umandar na yung fan, yun na yun.
Check mo rin yung radiator cap kung lumalaban pa yung rubber if pressed. Pwede rin sira yun since nag overheat hangang mamatay.

Just have a compression test done. That's the best way to determine if your engine compression is healthy or not.

November 30th, 2013 03:46 PM #6Kapag sobra nag overheat ang engine ay may nasisira ng init mga parts ng engine na gawa sa rubber. Ang related lang sa rubber sa cooling system ay yun radiator cap mo. Palitan mo na lang muna. Mura lang naman iyan.
Pero mas maganda mag check kung may leak sa cooling system ng engine ay paandarin makina hanggang umabot sa normal temperature or init ng engine. Silipin mo lahat mga tubes, seal ng waterpump, radiator at radiator cap. Kapag may nakita ka na kahit ga pawis na basa ay malaking problem iyon. Pagawa kaagad.
Medyo bantayan mo na kung umuusok ang tambutso after few months or malakas maubos ang engine oil. Iyan ang kasunod na sira ng engine kapag madalas mag overheat. Kung kulay ng usok sa tambutso ay puti ay may leak ng tubig sa sirang cylinder headgasket. Kung kulay bluish ay oil na iyon na pwede sirang piston ring. Valve seal.

but have a care to check the fluids more often for a while, say, every morning for the oil and before starting the engine for the coolant. see also if you are spewing dark smoke..
if you don't seem to be losing fluid, then count your blessings and just use the car.
also, check the gauges to see if everything is ok... temp, oil pressure idiot light...
in my opinion, loose compression is something that can wait, for as long as the engine still starts easily, at hindi naman tumitirik...
the engine stopped as a precautionary measure c/o the ECU...

Maraming salamat mga master sa input, fortunately after monitoring the car wala naman pong usok,wala rin bubbles, 1 click start agad un kotse at until now hinde nako ulit naka experience ng overheat, Maganda parin un hatak ng kotse un oil hinde naman ng babawas. Try ko mag palit ng rad cap and mag mix ng coolant and water para makita ko kung may leak un mga hoses un rin kase ag hinala ko pero hirap ma trace..

Isang indication po ba na sira na ang rad cap kapag nirerev mo yung auto ay may bumabalik na konting tubig sa reserve? TY
