nissan / b12 / carb type.
Idling drops from 700rpm to 300rpm which nearly turns the engine off. It vibrates as if somebody is yacking on the car.
any help?

June 25th, 2004 06:02 PM #2i had the same problem with our old car. the problem was the fuel filter. it was clogged. and water on the tank.
but in my civic vti before it was a different problem. it was the aircon compressor acting up. may parang clutch dun na nagloloko kaya bumbagasak yung idle.

same experience a couple of days ago.
i haven't check it thoroughly but its gone now.
yup, my suspect is also dirty filter, but i believe the possible culprit is water on the tank.
badtwip.
pag malapit na sa empty tank ko, palinis ko sa gas station.

i just put those penzoil(<-spelling)2 in 1 octain booster and fuel cleaner w/ a full tank of gas. . . . whalah, wala na problem.:D
