July 17th, 2011 02:24 PM #1Hi guys this is my first post and I needed your help regarding my car problem. My car, by the way is a Nissan Sentra 2000 (exalta body, engine: GA14). About 3 weeks ago, I noticed that there's oil in the radiator cap and the oil in the dipstick was like a milkshake. I brought it to a car shop para maayos. It took them 3 days to install everything.
So ni-resurface ang block based dun sa findings. Then gawa na ulit ang car (of course, with new gasket, new oil, etc) This is a back job so walang bayad.
Poor or substandard gasket ang ginamit? Wrong judgement/diagnostics ng shop mechanic?
What do you think about refurbished/surplus engines? Where can I buy good surplus engines? Is it worth replacing the current engine or just buy a surplus cylinder head block? I'm planning to bring my car to Nissan and have it checked pero natatakot ako sa over-estimate/charge ng mga casa.
Need your inputs and opinion and advise mga masters. I live in the southside (carmona, cavite)
Maraming salamat po.
