kailangan talaga tuhogin yan, especially pag malambot yung oil filter at madali butasin yung filter

Have you tried the fanbelt technique? Looping the fanbelt around the filter; make sure you loop it tightening more around the filter.
If all else fails, tuhugin na nga yan, messy but it gets the job done.

happened to me once sa fx ko. i did what Sir Ungas said the fanbelt technique but i wrapped a folded sand paper first sa filter then wrapped the fanbelt around it... and presto! tanggal ang filter hehehe... use rougher grit sand paper para mas may kapit

so in tightening a oil filter, hand tighten lang ba? gaano kahigpit? since imposible naman sukatan ng torque wrench.

kaya bang i-hand tighten ang oil filter? kailangan ata talaga gamitan ng tool yun (chain clamp or some such), kundi baka lumuwag pa at sumirit yung langis. kulang na kulang yung leverage ng kamay e hehe
