July 14th, 2017 04:19 PM #1hi guys!
how can configure with this kind of ISC motor 4g15 EFI. its not like an ordinary Servo motor.
it has a 5 or 6 pin and with a 2pin ISC.
im very frustrated regarding this idle issue. im not a tech guy but can you pls teach me the step by step procedures.
problems encountered:
- cold start high idle about 3k rpm then after 5 sec it will idle hunt(up and down) within 2k -3k rpm
- A/C low idle until engine dies.
thank you

Does anybody have a bidirectional scan tool to actuate the idle air control? You can see the response if the stepper motor is opening or closing. At least have a logic probe to test for power at the harness connector. The stepper motor has light/blue and green/black wire which alternately change polarity. The other four wires are confirmation wires to feedback to the PCM if the desired position has been reached
