Good day sa mga fellow tsikoters.
just wanna help out my friend who's finally decided to have his engine swap..
Body: Corolla Small body
Year: 91
Specs: All stock, manual M/T, 12 valves engine, not power window, not power steering, not power lock and no alarm.
budget: 40k
what can you recommend engine?
how much?
he doensn't need pang karera, pang araw araw na drive lang na matipid sa gas at the same time reliable engine at sana EFI na.
san makakakuha?
kung kayo sana situation nato at 40k budget niyo po..
ano mga magagawa niyo?

Swapping for fuel economy only? Never works out.
He could go for an LPG kit... would cost him less than 40k, and fuel savings will be much more, since LPG only costs 24 bucks a liter.
Otherwise he might as well just sell the car and buy the same model with an EFI engine.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Just go with a good LPG kit.
I'm pondering on doing the same to our 1993 Sentra 1.4L carb since its a gas guzzler (does around 7km/L++ in the city driving) and we enjoy using it as a beater car going around the city.

Hello, thank you for the replies and all..
the problem with my friend engine is medyo blowby na siya at medyo mahal magpa general overhaul..
baka meron kayo ma suggest na engine na medyo pasok sa budget niya..
wag lang mga 4AGE and 4AGZE...kasi ganun engine ng corolla ko, uhaw sa gas ang engine nayan..hehe
