March 2nd, 2013 03:41 PM #1Good day mga sirs. Need help regarding our 89 corolla 4af engine. Biglang nawala ang park lights at gauge cluster lights. May sidemarker sya which is both park at turn signal light. Gumagana headlights h/l, turn at hazard lights.
Ang nakakapagtaka, may parklight at turn signal ang left side marker only. So hindi sya switch. At hindi din relay.
I already replaced lahat ng blade fuses sa kick panel at sa yung fusebox under the hood, but still wala pa rin.
Baka may kelangan pako dapat i-check aside sa fuses?
TIA Tsikot

March 5th, 2013 02:32 PM #6Regarding the parking light relay, I think I found it. Sa may kick panel fuse box, above that. Parang cylindrical yung top portion then it has 4 prongs placed in a socket. It ticks when I twist the parking light switch. The only light that turns on would be the left side marker. But the thing is, if I flip the turn signal to the left it should also blink but its not. Only the other side blinks on turn signal but no parking lights.
I'll try to replace it then.

Just use the regular white bulb or white LED.
any other color just looks off.

May 10th, 2015 11:49 PM #9park lights, i think, are not required by law. you may use any light color except those forbidden in the rulebook.
but if i may lecture.. yellow, orange, and white, are the colors deemed bright enough to be used as park lights.. using other colors, in my opinion, would be a lapse in sound judgement.
basta kapag na-aksidente, handa mong sagutin ang "hindi ko nakita ang park lights niya, e".
