Then on the second attempt, mag start naman xa agad?
Nag try din po ako na patayin then wait for 2-3 hours then start, okay naman na.. All lights are good, stereo, aircon are also working.
Kahapon lang po nag start na 1 click sa first attempt then starts sa second, tapos ngayon na ulit nanaman kanina..
Ano po kaya problem and need paayos or palitan? Thanks in advance po as always..
My car is a 2010 Honda Civic AT

if its clicking then the ignition assembly is fine
it could just be the aging battery? how old is it?

November 14th, 2020 09:35 PM #4Hello po sir Stock, Thanks as always.. 2 years na po, motolite gold. And i forgot to mention na may naiwan akong isang ilaw sa loob na nakaopen for about 2 days, because of the typhoon di ko man lang nacheck yung car...
and kahapon pag open ko ng first attempt nag one click lang xa, and then at the second attempt, nag start ng maayos and naka-open pala yung ilaw.. Is it 100% battery na po ba talaga?

Hmm 2yr old Motolite Gold...That's about the end if you weren't conditioning it on a trickle charger. I can't recall a dead battery giving me intermittent starts, tho. It usually shows signs like weak cranking to just clicking. Never dead now, alive on 2nd try. Have batt, its terminals, ground connections & the brake switch checked. Eliminate the suspects before you go replacing stuff.

Motolite Gold only has 21-month warranty and Motolite batteries typically conk out after its warranty expires. Just replace it.

also, tighten the battery terminals.
some battery stores have a battery checker service for free.
have it checked.
if the reading suggests replacement, have it replaced already.
nothing can be more panick-y than a dead battery in an otomatic car, kung kelan ka pa nagmamadali.
good luck.
