Yung after market ko na busina nung pinakabit ko sya around 10 years ago eh direct tap sa battery.
Nagloloko sya ngayon.
He said baka yung busina na kailangan palitan.

Most likely a stuck relay. Subukan mo tanggalin/palitan yung horn relay.

May 20th, 2022 09:48 AM #3a number of cars have their businas wired direct to the battery, so's they can horn even with the ignition switch off.
safety/convenience and all that.
but i think they have their own fuse, naman.
yes, it's either the horn switch inside the steering wheel, or the horn relay.
it's probably not the horn. a defective busina either sounds hoarse, or does not horn when switched on.
the relay is probably easier to replace, as it's usually within easy reach in the engine bay.
googling the horn switch,
as with every other car part replacement procedure,
parang mabusisi, if one is not into doing it on a regular basis.
i'd probably have the mekaniko do it for me. i imagine only a few hundring bucks for his effort.
both procedures are google-able, naman.
good luck.
p.s.,
i still go banawe, even as it's inconvenient for me. it entails an hour's driving in traffic, to get there one way.
i find the mekanikos there, more knowledgeable.
and most parts for toyota, new or surplus, are very available there.
googling,
the switch/clock spring costs about a thousand bucks, and the relay less than 500 bucks.Last edited by dr. d; May 20th, 2022 at 10:32 AM.
