hey guys, gusto ko lang i-share my Feroza EL driving experience today,, kahit medyo makalampag na yung unit due to age, i still appreciate its low-end torque and power response, being a diesel driver now for 6 months..

also, i confirm, nakakalakas nga ng ugong starting 70kph + . haha, but i think i just love it.

yung clutch pala, kaya sobrang tigas dahil cable-type siya.. and i think madali ko lang gawan ng paraan ito.

i will be driving my friend's Feroza maybe for a couple of weeks while he's out of the country.. being a DIY enthusiast, back when i still own a Gen1 CRV, mukhang napusuhan ko agad itong Feroza and will try to read more from DCP..

Sir, I'm a new owner of a '90 Feroza. Got it last May. It has become quite a hobby fixing her up. Isa-isa lumalabas mga sakit niya. Wear and tear, most probable reason. Pero it's pretty exhausting.

So far, ito na napagawa ko simula nung when I got her:

- Radiator overhaul
- Hose replacement (upper, then lower)
- Rotor replacement
- High Tension Wire replacement
- Spark plugs
- Lav Ra Mon cooling system flush
- Fan belt change

Right now, medyo nadadala ko na siya from A to B, compared nung when I first got it. But laging di lumalagpas ng 1 week, may bagong sakit nanaman. Hindi maka-get over sa overheating problems si Feroza ko. Ergo, lahat nung mga pinagawa ko sa list sa taas. And earlier today, nag-overheat nanaman ako. turns out, I have a busted crankshaft pulley.

Now, naghahanap ako ng surplus parts na mabibilan nung pulley. Kailangan ko mga tulong niyo, Daihatsu Feroza experts. Inquire lang ako regarding dun sa pulley and kung saan available/nagbebenta kayo/sila.

Hello. Quick question. Medyo alangan kasi ako sa rpm/kph meters ko. Di lumalagpas ng 4rpm yung rev ko pero pasigaw na yung makina. Tapos 40-50kph by third gear- fourth gear. Pero according kasi sa factory manual description niya, kayang 100kph, third gear in 14 seconds. Di tuloy ako mapakali.

hi neil, so far based sa feroza na hawak ko pa rin ngayon, standard 5speed gear rpm/kph pa rin naman, tested 100kph sa cavitex, and its within 3k RPM.

had its carburator overhauled na and cleaned up, at may inihinang rin sa distributor kasi bigla pumalya yung 1 chamber.

right now di ko pa naayos leak sa radiator, pero temporary sealed it with cyclo radiator repaair liquid, nawala na tagas. hehe.

Btw, Daihatsu is 51% owned by Toyota and they have a lot of common parts and even designs, so parts availability for the Feroza should not really be a problem, if you know some of the counterparts. The Daihatsu Feroza is very similar to the Toyota Blizzard if you have seen one.
