Omoda To Enter Philippine Market | CarGuide

Omoda, Chery’s global grand aimed at young trendsetters, will enter the market independent of current Chery distributor, UAAGI.

The name, which is a combination of “O” representing “brand-new” and “Moda” meaning fashion trend, will enter the market with a “well-established distributor partner.” Executives from Omoda China, citing confidentiality as the distributorship agreement is still being finalized, did not name who this Philippine partner is. They did, however, emphasize that it is not UAAGI as UAAGI “did not meet their expectations.” The planned launch date no later than October.

Omoda PH To Launch Full Ownership Ecosystem Called O-Universe | CarGuide

The O-Universe will be divided into four categories:

O-Fashion – Omoda owners will enjoy discounts on selected premium fashion and sporting brands, and will gain access to special sales before they are opened to the public.
O-Club – Omoda owners get access to social happenings, VIP invites to weekend clubs, discounts on travel and leisure packages, and special discounts on selected restaurants.
O-Life – Omoda owners get rebates and advices on fuel rates with its fuel partner, and Omoda owners will also be included in CSR activities such as Environmental Runs, Outreach programs, etc.
O-Lab – Omoda will create platforms and avenues, in the form or webpages, forums and events, where the brand will listen directly to customer feedback. This will spark an idea of “user co-creation,” encouraging customers to have input on what the brand needs to improve on, or what they expect to see in upcoming models.

The company said it has identified the issue, and that the rear axle beam component on affected vehicles will be completely replaced and not repaired. The work will take about two hours. Affected owners will be directly contacted very soon to bring their cars in.

i am wondering, what happened in the facility that manufactured these affected rear axle beam components, that caused the existence of these substandard components?

but i appreciate the manufacturer's actions to rectify the problem.

malas ng omoda ph. di pa sila nagsisimula, may issue na. too bad since Chery under UAAGI has been able to somewhat overcome the bad rep left by previous dealers.

To reassure their customers, dapat kinopya din nila ginawa ng toyota.
Which is to hire 3rd party reputable Quality inspector to check if the cause of issue has been rectified.
Hirap i justify transparency if within internal lang nagrerectify ng cause.
