    Chinese Brand Jaecoo To Enter Philippine Market Before End 2023 | CarGuide

    Confirmed by the Chery Automotive Group, the off-road-centric brand will share the same roof as Omoda, yet another Chinese vehicle brand entering the country later this year.

    Jaecoo, which will launch its first production vehicle, the Jaecoo 7 at the Auto Shanghai (teaser photos are seen below), will be a brand focused on tough, off-road vehicles.

    The EJ6 RWD packs a 65.69-kWh (usable) lithium-iron phosphate battery offering a range of 421 kilometers, while the AWD has a slightly larger battery—69.77-kWh (usable) for a similar 421 kilometers of range. With an 80-kW fast charging battery, EJ6 takes only 30 minutes to charge from 30 to 80 percent. The car also boasts a V2L (vehicle to load) functionality.

Despite formally launching the brand in April at the Manila International Auto Show, O&J still has no retail sales to show for. And now, they’ve missed their September (and then October) start of retail sales target. Still, you got to hand it to them: they’re not going out with a whimper."
