This is both hilarious and embarassing. A head scratch moment that surely wont flatter any Quoros executive

And then there are various curiosities, one of which gave rise to this article, the comprehensive home you just attended. Carmakers from China , it is always fun. Mostly in the first plan. Novelty, which discussed in this paper, is not.

Qoros 3 sedan, the production version . He said China's first reasonable car. And indeed, a superficial look reveals great way copied procedures, structures, materials, ergonomics, and all this in a new way. Chinese copy, it still meant " the appearance of a specific European Car "and when viewed from less than 50 meters was all wrong. A detailed investigation then occured horror shock and laughter. Qoros is different. Copies, but sophisticated, like everyone else. Elements, details, procedures - you take and use them in a slightly different way and implants them into a harmonious whole, which itself makes sense and neparoduje any particular existing car. A detailed examination one finds errors, illogical, but the first glance the car passes with flying colors. A closer examination of the details and the "usual suspects" already one discovers that it is a shell that lacks grunt and custom development. Then easily happen that the manufacturer forgets minor detail.

Tip: Check out all the news Geneva Motor Show in 2013 , we have also the gallery of live photos directly from Geneva .

Let's slightly zafabulovat. In a faraway land finally decided to do a decent car, over which Europeans neohrnou nose, and which the famous car show neuřízne shame. The car is ready, it looks to the world, held last check before departure. And that fits innocent sentence: "Comrade leader, open my suitcase, I need to check if everything is in order there." And that is found trivial. Car, in which the authors inspired door should open the trunk on the dash. And that's where the inspiration floorboards, again on the door. Just one damn button is forgotten and the lid itself is also no switch. What now, do not wait showroom ...

I took my dear comrades chisel, hammer and stood, melancholy, breaking your head, how to solve the whole suffered as little as possible. Sure, no one in the wheelhouse will look and instructs hostess, that's it. And they said, so done. Hole first came out, it was too far, the poorly searched, so it přeplátovali pierced metal and a bit wrong. The button is on the ground, the trunk is open, the glory. A second car exposed to the same thing.

What can I say? Funny story, sure, but nicely highlights what Qoros 3 sedan was formed, and that is perhaps not as original as it first may seem . What are the "forgotten" in the absence of such essential thing as opening the trunk? What can be more "nedomyslelo" and "solved" in a similar manner? How much of your attention automaker gave the idea that the car has to work to be 10 or 15 years, during which it will change hands, and at market value, which will indicate the reliability, performance, quality and reputation of the car?

On the other hand, the Chinese are not the only ones who dodělává, regulates and improves the car on display at the showrooms in the state in which it can not buy regular customer. With regularity, so apparently is the creator of legendary cars Concern famous (and his subjects), including tightening belts, the products look "sporty" and lower ... So you actually say that one button in the arch is pretty funny story flat district format.

"China's 1st reasonable car".... proves to be a China car still. LOL!!!

So the show car is a development prototype and not a finished model, and it's an automatic fail?

I still have high hopes for it Niky. But, it's a china brand in which they are trying to raise the bar among Chinese car perception and this is all wrong. They could have reasoned out that the button is in the keyfob as in some cars. They should have spared the show car with some hilarious buttons on the wheel arch.

Well... I've heard of and seen worse. Sounds like they rushed development prototypes into use as showcars.

Yeah. Seems like. But then again, in some international forums; it makes them wonder what other subtle or un-seen details might have been forgotten.

And that's not a good sign to build trust. Claiming you up the ante, then walk the talk ;)

Still I have to admit, that car is so damn good looking

A modern tech 1.6L GDI turbo. power in the neighborhood of 120-150hp.

More than anything, this China car is developed (not merely reproduced; more so copied) mainly by european engineers.

We keep laughing on China. That's what we do- laugh at them. While they develop (or copy, whatever you call) their own vehicles, we just lounge around. Proud of our ever reliable jeepney.

    Hear hear!

I totally agree. We laugh now but one day, Generation Z Pinoys will be manufacturing these Chinese cars in Laguna.

    BTT:

The car is a prototype... a concept, even. It's ok to have fake trunk handles. The guy in the video is an idiot.
