The pricing of Chevrolet is kinda dumb locally. Their 2.0 turbo camaro is more expensive than the 5.0 v8 Mustang GT. Doesnt bode well for the corvette pricing.....
But im not losing hope.....

Case in point the hellcat, they didn’t let that beast gain ground, after unveiling it they just yank it off the market. At 6.5M they could have at least competed with GTR, but no they didn’t give their product a chance.
PS grey market widebody hellcat are priced at 9M. Deym!!!
