All-new 2022 Chevrolet Trax to debut later this year | Autodeal

According to a report from Roadshow, the 2022 Chevrolet Trax will make its debut later this year. Production of the outgoing model will end in late 2022, while the new model will begin assembly during the first half of 2023.

I wonder if it will follow the new Trailblazer and Blazer's design language.

Since TCCCI now has the Tracker (roughly the same size as the outgoing Trax) and slightly bigger Trailblazer (same size as a Kia Seltos), there's probably no room for a Trax here.

Technically, the Tracker was the Trax's replacment in emerging markets.

Sourced from (SAIC-GM) china or (GM Korea) birthplace of k-pop?

I have a strong feeling this new Trax will be sourced from SAIC GM + 1.5L engines = Ford Territory competitor.

They source it from GM Korea (formerly Daewoo). But despite its intriguing appeal, local srp isn't too attractive at all. Kaya sayang hehe.

true na sayang siya. this would be a deal breaker for some. now there's a lot of chinese compact crossovers to choose from that has even better pricing than new trax. Should TCCI changed their minds and source their Trax in SAIC GM to slash import taxes and to fix their pricing.
