June 17th, 2015 09:25 AM #1almost 2 weeks na sa amin yung trailblazer... pinaka na notice ko is yung tagtag.. ths is my first suv kaya dko alam kung ganito ba talaga pag suv...
when we took in the unit delivery.. the tire pressure was at 38 front 41 rear .. the sticker on the door only specifies 35 front and 38 rear...
on a l8ng drive to manaoag on the first week.. binawasan ko to 36 front and 37 rear... mas ok na pero ramdam pa rin tagtag...
now I think nasa 35 na sya lahat front and rear...
I dont wat to go lower na since almist 10% lower na yan sa recommended spec.. I dont want to have to go under inflated for too long which means mught have to upgrade shocks siguro... tama ba?
what can you guys recommend?

August 19th, 2015 10:46 AM #4Same experience about sa tag tag. I did the same bawasan yung pressure even down to 30psi (although my unit has rim 20), it helped pero ramdam pa rin talga. Before I changed my mags and tire, the feel was the same. One thing I noticed is, if your car is fully loaded, the ride was superb.

bigger SUVs have stiff suspension compared to sedans kaya matagtag.... because they are built to carry.... the only SUV that I've ridden on na maganda ang ride are the expeds.

When I hauled a sack of rice on my TBZ, the ride improved. I'm thinking of permanently putting at the back a (cement) sack of sand already.

ladder on frame suv, matagtag talaga compared sa sedan. pick up based kasi yan and designed for hauling heavy loads. so tama, lagyan mo 2 sakong bigas sa likod para gumanda ang ride, or palit ka ng shocks.
air is 78% nitrogen. well, maybe some butts are more sensitive than others
