... and I believe it'll be available here around January or February next year pa. (same with the Colorado). Those used during the launch last Friday at the Motorrama at MOA were RHD units.

November 14th, 2011 09:57 AM #6Only one engine option? Pareho kaya to sa Cruze in the acceleration department? Sole 1.8L engine option would mean that it will only be able to compete the gas powered MPVs which do not occupy a big portion of the MPV market. Is there any news of the 2.0VCDi coming? They'd better price it right if they want a respectable share of the diesel MPV market beside the Carens and Innova.

Given the price of the Cruze diesel, a diesel Orlando might cost 1.4m+. Sportage/Tucson territory.

Note, I said diesel:
The diesel Cruze is about 1.288m.
The gasoline Cruze with the automatic starts at 938k. The top-of-the-line gasoline model costs 1.078m.
The gasoline Orlando, with the same engine is 1.188m.
Thus, a diesel Orlando might cost 1.4m to 1.6m, depending on trim level and whether the 1.188m Orlando is closer in trim to the base Cruze LS or the Cruze LT.
