If you have all the documents don't worry about 'huli' just know your rights. I think they only have the 'CRUZE' plates.

    TIPS KAPAG SINITA:

    1. Ask kung ano ang violation mo.
    2. Kung sakaling aabot na sa pagtiticket >>>> ASK FOR THE I.D. of the apprehending agent.

Magtatanong sila para saan and he will tell you na nandyan na man sa ticket ang name nila.

Insist that you NEED to take a photo of their I.D. so you can reimburse it with the company you are working with and will attach their photo sa ticket as a requirement for reimbursement.

Usually, the apprehending agent will call somebody then lalayo yan -->> insist to the reliever that you want the apprehending agent and not him.

Normally, they will refuse to give their I.D. to you (medyo takot na sila dito - DO THIS ONLY IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY VIOLATION AT ALL).

If they refuse to give their I.D. then REFUSE ALSO for a ticket.

    3. I always have a tape recorder hidden and ready to record the conversation. You can also ready your cellphone and the video function just in case.

Remember, kapag wala kang violation - kinukutungan ka lang ng mga iyan. Hindi pa ako nagbigay kahit singko sa mga yan at wala pa akong huli o natikitan man lang.

    Thanks, marlboro2000.

If I am no mistaken, Car dealers are given special privileges by LTO to issue temporary paper stating that the plate number is in the process and the bearer is permitted to drive the vehicle for a specified number of days. Kapag wala pa rin ang plaka, then the dealer can issue another one until dumating na ang plaka.

You may want to inquire from your dealer about this. Anyways, if ever there is such a violation it is too minor I guess.

On NO PLATE, NO TRAVEL POLICY:

Been searching the LTO site but I can't find this one. Although, LTO released some memoramdum before specifically during holidays (i.e. holy week) not to allow vehicles with no plate to travel for security reasons (mga hold-upper, terrorists, etc).

If your car is new and the plates are still being processed due to unavailability of plates by LTO then argue your way out using the certification/permit issued by the dealer.

Hi All! Just wanted to thank you all for the very helpful comments and information that we were able to source from this thread. It helped us decide against a Civic and a Mazda3. We just got our Carbon Flash Metallic 1.8 LS AT today and it drives like a dream! I am so proud to be part of the club finally!

Congratulations on your new Carbon Flash Metallic 1.8 LS AT

    1. San nyo po nakuha ang unit ninyo?
    2. Meron bang binigay na temporary plate from Chevrolet?
    3. Meron din bang binigay na parang letter or permit to drive from your dealer?

nung nakuha ko yung unit ko last month, meron silang binigay na papers para ipakita sa mga police if ever habang wala pa yung plate nagbigay din sila ng 'registered by q. ave' temporary plate pero tinanggal ko kaagad kasi mas gusto ko yung CRUZE lang yung nakakabit
