if my GC is concerned then power is a big issue since it's clearly written that it is a sports car.

if it for the cruze, it doesn't matter since it is not a sports car. so ok lang sa akin kahit abutin pa yan ng 15 seconds. kapag cruze kasi gamit ko 90 percent hindi ako nagmamadali.

Yun nga, kasi ikaw may sports car. So in cases na magmamadali ka, gagamitin mo GC mo. What if yung Cruze lang ang only car ?

    One more thing,

Im sure it is made for every purpose, medyo lacking lang talaga sa acceleration which is quite a dismay for others. Ngayon, if others will claim it to be 10 seconds to 100 which is obviously not ( according to bigbigcars which I respect ) e, parang stir yun for the buyers. Hindi accurate kumbaga. Lie.

    You got the point.

Well, I don't mind having a slow sedan. In fact yung Optra ko noon talagang mabagal ang acceleration eh. Pero that's a big factor IMHO.

And yeah, most of the people here are basing the 0-100 acceleration on international tests.

Ibang bansa yun, guys. Yung sa BBC, local. Malay natin yung hangin dun iba sa hangin dito. Less drag dun, kaya napaabot ng 10. Who knows.

Sana kung may video kayo or whatever diba ? Na ginawa niyo in 10 seconds. Dito sa Pilipinas.

    try back reading nga.

    OT

Go Google 'chevrolet cruze 0 to 60 mph' and you'll find that the Cruze sprints to 60 mph quicker with the automatic than the manual. (Most news is on the Cruze Eco which is essentially the same car but more aerodynamic and a bit lighter.)

A 1.8 test is rare but there are a few.

Car and Driver, Road & Track and Motor Trend tests are all "First Drives" and their 0 to 60 numbers in the 9 to 10 sec range are still estimates.

I'm not making an argument here but I will stand by my opinion that bigbigcar.com's 0 to 100kph test at 14.9 sec is unreliable.

I dont think its a big issue, the acceleration of the cruze. But as what Renzo said its vital for some buyers to consider overtaking power.

I find it hard to bring your car out of the garage and set a mindset: "I will not overtake because I am driving a slow car...I will try not to overtake because my car is slow and for cruising only...I'll just do the overtaking some other time when I'm driving my sports car"
