October 13th, 2010 09:20 PM #1pwede mag request na 1st page ng thread na to for updates po?
like fuel efficiency, kung lemon ba to, rebadge korean car, minor nuisance.
mahirap kasi magback read ng 100 pages just to look for things you need when puro makikita mo lang is daldalan na maganda ito, ganito mga changes pinag-gagawa,congrats for buying.
let's help others.

October 13th, 2010 09:57 PM #2Your suggestion makes sense radeon. Let's see if the moderators can do something about it. I know it's kinda difficult reading through 100 pages, but you do get a lot of info if you have the patience to read through it all.
Pagpasensyahan na nyo yung mga posts dito, many of us Cruze owners are really happy about our vehicle. I guess that is also true for owners of other vehicles, too.
In any case, what is it you'd like to know about the Cruze? I'll try to answer them as best I can, depending on my knowledge & experience with the car.

October 13th, 2010 10:02 PM #3WRC, I'll take you up on that offer
Hinahanap ko yung portion about how to break-in the Cruze... ilang araw na akong naghahalungkat. For sure may recommendation ang Chevy (bukas... isang tulog pa!), pero interested to know how you've done it.
Salamat!

October 13th, 2010 10:03 PM #5*eeeyaan, I like your suggestions of the various C3 versions. Maganda rin yung ginawa mong Chevy bowtie. Hmm...seems you're going to give us a hard time deciding what logo to go with...
May I suggest both logo designs be made available to those who want it? I was thinking kasi na pwede ko ilagay sa taas ng windshield yung C3 & the bowtie at the rear window.

October 14th, 2010 12:04 AM #7guys ano po ba talaga? nakakalito. confirmed bang hindi na rebadged daewoo ang chevy cruze?
yung optra alam na nating rebadged daewoo yun.
sabi kasi dito sa link na to, it's the other way around this time na daw. it's a chevy being rebadged as daewoo.
http://www.topgear.com.ph/board/index.php?topic=5786.0
yan din sabi ng isang poster dito sa thread na to on page 8
http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=65063&page=8
maiisip naman ng iba ba't papayag ang chevy na i-rebadge ang product nila to a known less superior label diba?
i found the answer here as to why.

"The Daewoo brand is only for Korea. I believe this brand is more popular in Korea than Chevrolet. Most non-luxury GM cars sold in Korea are badged as Daewoos, this includes the Korean market Holden Statesman and Saturn Sky."

according dito, the chevy will be rebadged as holden in australia.

October 14th, 2010 01:41 PM #8Radeon, I have pm for you.
Holden is still part of the GM group. It may be that the Cruze will carry the Holden badge in Australia as most GM cars are sold as Holden's in Australia. But it remains a true "world car", label lang ang pinalitan, quality & durability is still exceptional.
I'm not so sure about the rebadging to Daewoo in Korea. That may be, but it doesn't detract from the fact that this is manufactured to world standards, not Korean standards.

October 14th, 2010 03:19 PM #9i agree with WRC
ever since the crisis sa states, chevrolet put everything they got into the Cruze (or whatever badge it has around the world). The mains specs about the car are standard around the world.. (not including some minor differences such as bluetooth, interior colors, and others). The changes are to suit the country being sold in. here in the philippines.. wala yung diesel variant and the 1.4 turbo charged variant.
despite the differences, the overall quality is still the same around the world. comparing it to other cars in its bracket, it has the "new car" advantage as well as the best safety features.
in all honesty, i found the civic and the altis to accelerate faster than the cruze but the cruze was more stable when being driven. It was like a rock
about the daewoo.. it was designed sa korea (korean car designs are becoming more and more popular these days). even though it was designed there, it's still an all american muscle car.
