So I guess now would be a good time to reel back a bit? I have some funds that just need to be put somewhere safe but with a realistically good yield. My risk appetite is somewhat on the medium side right now.
7% P.A. is reasonable enough for me.
There's still money to be made even on a down cycle, yes?

I have money in equities, mainly Index funds from BDO and BPI. I prefer to just get what the market is willing to give back.

Good insight, it's true I don't need another job right now. My plate is quite full already.
I just want a safe place to park some funds until the right investment comes along.
We might just buy a few more lots worth more over time, but I really prefer something that pays out regular dividends either quarterly or even monthly if possible.
Real estate kasi laging tulog ang pera unless you find a great location, even if you have no improvements, somebody is always looking to lease or rent for their business.
