The St. Theresa’s College Manila High School Class of ‘78 Foundation will be
holding another art raffle entitled “ART IS KOOL! Juried Art Raffle for a
Theresian Cause” at 4 p.m., on September 23, Saturday, at the Gallery Hues, MC Home Depot, The Fort. (All items will have been screened by a jury of well-known
artists.)

This time, the foundation will be partnering with a group of 25 distinguished
artists that call themselves "Kulay Marikina." Among its members are Remy
Boquiren, Lydia Velasco, Fernando Sena, Joey Ibay, Cris Cruz and sculptor Chi
Cruz. Most of the art work will come from them but other participating artists
are Malang, Soler Santos, and Cid Reyes. Only pieces that passed the criteria
set by their selection committee will be included in the raffle.

Tickets cost P10,000 and P20,000. A P10,000 ticket entitles its holder to
artwork worth at least P15,000 while a P20,000 ticket will allow you to win a
piece worth at least P30,000. Half of the ticket cost will go to the artist.

Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the STCM Foundation for the
rebuilding of St. Theresa’s College Manila and will be used to finance annual
medical missions and outreach projects sponsored by the group.

Note: Please buy a ticket in advance because the number of paintings/sculptures to be raffled is equal to the number of sold ticket. Everybody will bring home a prize.
