As with anything crypto, $AXS and $SLP are highly volatile. The high influx of new players today means that the prices are inflated by demand.
My personal take: everyone I know getting into Axie are people who I don’t personally see as financially savvy. Same crowd of folks who get into online sabong. Mostly jej crowd.

The thing is it's gotten quite expensive to enter Axie Infinity already ... you'll need around 50T to 80T to get a decent team ... Last year it only costs USD 5 to buy a team ...
If you have capital, you assemble several teams and get scholars to do the work for you ... and if you have 5-10 scholars, you hire a manager ...
*EQAddict ... it's a game based on blockchain / NFT, part game, part trading ... if you can afford, this is a good way for your kids to navigate the cryptoverse ... it's good that they are interested ... it's a way to teach kids about managing people, finances and how business in cryptoverse works ... while having fun playing ... starter Axies cost about $150-$200 each ... you need 3 to form a team ... they need to study the game mechanics before diving into it ... then there's breeding ... anyways, if ever they tire of it, you can always sell the Axies at cost or minimal loss ...Last edited by Walter; July 7th, 2021 at 12:37 AM.
