I don't know where to post this. Pls move to appropriate forum, if ever.

I'm putting up a 'casual' business of selling pre-owned clothing (NOT UKAY-UKAY). I have a lot of men's stuff waiting to be sold. Stuff from my dad, uncles, friends, etc. They are all of excellent quality - mostly barely used stuff.

Question is: Would you buy pre-owned stuff?

I guess women may answer na rin, if they're buying for their husbands or what.

This is not a plug of my business. Just wondering if it's worth putting up a store for these things. Baka my efforts will be wasted lang. I think it will be cinch to sell the women's stuff but for men...

    Thanks for your help

For me... it depends on what clothing item...

Personally, I'd be only interested in neckties & jackets.

negative stuff ive heard re. 2nd hand clothing is baka patay na ang may-ari kaya binebenta ung iba...well im sure di lahat ganyan but i'd rather be sure.

depende na rin sa dating ng store mo, kung classy ok yan.

What kind of clothese are you targeting to sell?

BlueBimmer, hindi kaya episode sa CSI yan? hehehe. some dig up graves and sell off the "dead's" expensive clothes. the people who wore them, died because they had a reaction with the dead man clothes. somesort of chemical used when embalming or during the decomposition stage

Hmmmm.... I might kung gustong-gusto ko talaga yung item. Under the 'stuff' category, accessories/jewelry (bracelets, necklaces) and watches (tag heuer, rolex) would be a cinch to sell.

No, ipamigay mo na lang yan bro. My old clothes usually goes to some poor relatives and farmer neighbors of my parents in the province. One time when I went there, yung nagdadala ng gatas ng kalabaw suot na yung old leather jacket ko. Ayos ang feeling.....

Hmm negative responses. Maybe I won't push through anymore. Note: Buhay pa mga may-ari. LOL! And I'm a girl po, for the person who called me 'bro'.

Mostly semi-formal stuff like polo shirts, long-sleeves, and jackets. Brands include: Lacoste, RL, Marlboro Classics, etc. Half are not popular brands.

    Thanks for your replies!

Comments will still be very much appreciated
