April 13th, 2003 01:50 AM #1hey guys, any idea about taking up MBA? what about B.S. education? is this necessary? is it worth it? would it cost? what are the pros and cons? what's the best school? I've been thinking of going back to school(part-time - after work or during sat.).. it's either MBA or Education?

take an MBA!!! It's worth it man:D kung baga...practical sya and it would be very useful especially in business8) since ateneo kana nung undergrad mo....mag-ateneo kana din sa MBA! bigyan pa kita ng mga notes!
pero i suggest you work muna for a year or more para mas ma-appreciate mo yun MBA:mrgreen:
i can't imagine you taking B.S. Education and teaching! Pwede pa kung "Chicks 101" or "How to get girls with a safari and an exalta":lol::mrgreen:

hindi na kailangan ni GlennSter 'Chicks 101', master nya na yan kahit na walang Safari at exalta. :D:lol::mrgreen:
tama si bluestar, work ka muna ng mga two years bago mag MBA. subukan mo naman La Salle or sa Australia or dito ka sa Singapore kumuha ng MBA mo.

glenn,
try going to State Universities...depending upon the state where you live...if you are a foreign graduate you must fullfill the requirements and prerequisites for a graduate degree. if you want to teach take the BS education and if you are planning to teach in community colleges minimum degree requirement must be a Masters while in a state university must be a PhD,EdD, DN,DNSC DrPH. if you are into business and you want to become a manager/director or ceo...then take MBA. i noticed that your location is USA, may i asked which state. try to explore some state university because they are cheaper and schedule of classes are more flexible, but if you have money then you can go to private universities like USC, Yale, Stanford, harvard, but here in US it doesn't matter which school you from as long as you have the degree and potential, your in.
if you have questions let me know because i finished by bachelor's and my master's at california state university long beach.
peace out
cale

MBA... but most of the universities in the states require at least a year of work experience.
it's all worth it!
