dr, wala naman ako prospect na ibang company. Fear ko nga wala ako makukuha na job kasi I am almost 40 na.
Sa current ko kasi I am a manager but I am for promotion na to AVP, but because our department got dissolved, that's gone na. But my current VP used his network din and informed management that I was lined up for AVP, pero HR constraint na since I will be in a new role (if I accept) 1 yr minimum pa before I get it

Ok talaga ang mag-stay..
Pero.. pero...
Kung 100% decided na sya mag-resign next year for US.. And 100% na may guarantee yung package.. 11 years.. Naku instant milyonaryo.. Dami pera nun hehehe.. [emoji16]
Kaysa mag-stay tapos hindi sustainable pala yung new pakikisama sa bagong colleagues, role na hindi trip, nakakainip na paghihintay for promotion.. Tapos mapapa-resign dahil dun.. Sayang..
Talo kapag mag-resign lang VS. redundancy package..
Kung mag-stay sya... minimun 2 years staying powers and 2 years amount of patience yun..

If I lose this chance to get redundancy, malabo na kasi our company does not want to redundate talaga, malaki kasi cost nyan and management also wants me to stay
Pag nagre reflect nga ko, napaisip ko sinabi ng friend ko na we only have X number of productivity/working years (40 from 20 yrs old to 60 yrs old) I am almost halfway na (16 yrs) wala pa rin ako naipupundar na kahit ano
In general nga, nothing is great in my life EXCEPT for my job, nawala pa
Yes, kasi magre resign naman talaga ako. Sa current boss ko kasi, okay sa kanya mag long leave ulit ako so I don't lose my green card pero sa lilipatan ko na ibang department, wala ng papayag nyan, kasi exceptional arrangement lang naman kami ng VP ko. Also, another HR technicality, hindi pwede long leave pag bago sa position. I plan to resign kasi mid next year, tapos stay ako sa US for a few months tapos balik ulit
Not interested to watch baby in chief and his sycophants. I only saw 1 person wearing a mask
Why shouldn't I go back to Manila? Chat replay na puro Trump 2020

I have until tomorrow. Literally masakit ulo ko ngayon
Ayoko talaga manirahan sa US but I don't wanna lose my green card kaya I have to go back talagaMas gusto ko pa rin talaga mag work dito
Even my Kuya said, sa ugali ko, iiyak daw ako sa US kasi hindi ako sanay sa pressure at pagod (true) Sa current job ko, 1 week in a month lang ako pagod.
Ang ayokong sabihin either "I should have taken the money" OR "I should have accepted the role"
Yan din naisip ko kasi magre resign naman na talaga ako. Long overdue na, dapat nung 2019 pa ko nag resign pero love ko kasi yung boss and role ko, kaya nga bumalik pa ko ng Pilipinas kasi I love my job talaga (among other factors such as family and crush heehee)
BUT china virus changed everything, baka naman hindi rin ako makabalik ng US kung sasarhan nila yung bansa sa flights. Also, I don't wanna be jobless for long, yan na nga lang isa sa mga bagay that I can be proud of (I have a career)
Flattered din ako na my Kuya and Crush thinks I have a nice job, mga idols ko silaKuya ko dahilan bakit nakapasok ako sa dream company ko

Mom ko tinatanong ko, as usual whatever my decision is daw. Mahirap din wala si Daddy at brother ko
Swerte din mga housewife, walang iniisip na career. I never thought I would say this pero kahit naging asawa ko si crush, I would have stayed in this job until retirement kung hindi kami na outsource. It's perfectI still don't understand bakit kailangan mawala. My heart is so broken
Bihira na lang yung masaya talaga sa trabajo nila
Sa buhay ko talaga, happiness is fleeting

June 29th, 2020 06:46 PM #28i am not into private business processes.
so here is my understanding.
your current employers want to offer you a good position, but they are not sure if they can bring it to fruition ?
in lieu of waiting for the promised position, your other choice is retirement, then perhaps look for another position elsewhere, should the opportunity arise ?Last edited by dr. d; June 29th, 2020 at 06:51 PM.

No doctor
Other staff have been offered redundancy na but my employers want to keep me in the company so they offered me several roles (which I have rejected) on a lateral transfer so I can stay in the organization. I was lined up for promotion to AVP this year but since our department was dissolved, everyone due for promotion are disqualified na. If I transfer to another department, I have to start all over, BUT, my current VP talked to Manila leadership that I am lined up na, pero HR technicality means I have to wait one more year. I think that is too long to wait, and I plan to resign din naman mid 2021.
Na exhaust na all positions and the last one I was given until June 30 to decide if I want it or not. Otherwise, I THINK HR will offer me a redundancy package na, since they don't allow floating anymore.
Redundancy is 1.5 months of salary per year of service TAX free PLUS retiremet
Resignation - retirement only

June 29th, 2020 07:42 PM #30so they are offering you a position, but which you may occupy only next year?
what happens to you during the waiting period?
will you still be drawing salary? if so, that'd be great.
will you be offered redundancy package by the company, but come middle of 2021 you will start working again in the company? that sounds good also. retire... pension... and at the end of a year, may lump sum na, may pension pa, and back to work ulit! and considering covid, if i were me, that one year vacation during the kasagsagan ng covid would be fine with me.
now,
if i were the company, and i were pushing the heavens to get you a position in my company,
and you would be resigning pala from the company in the near future...
i-the-company would feel bad.
