Ay hindi ako nagbebenta. Hehe. Actually naghahanap din ako planning to build a house and sell it. Hehe.

Id prefer to build and sell city houses as those are necessities, whereas a tagaytay house is a vacation house and will most likely be customized.

Tagaytay lots are very pricey, for all the obvious reasons. If I may, I suggest you take a look at Amadeo or Mendez. Both are near Tagaytay, but real estate is priced a bit lower.
Here's a quick comparison, a choice 300 sqm lot along the Tagaytay ridge was selling for the equivalent price of a 2.4 hectare spread in San Diego, Lian, Batangas (a short ride downhill from Tagaytay).

Hehe

Suggest you do your due diligence by checking the most recent transactions for lots within the vicinity to see how values have appreciated. You can go to the Registry of Deeds for this. Also, talk to your bank since they have knowledge of property values in the area. The rapid rise of property values are influenced by several factors like accessibility from main roads, proximity to commercial establishments, institutional establishments, etc. Even acquisition by a major developer (i. e. Ayala Land) of land within the immediate area can raise values right away.
