Strategy ko is to leave my CCs at home, para walang impulse buying. Kung decided na akong gamitin (usually during appliance madness sales ng BPI), then that is the only time I bring it with me.

I rarely use it though. Pag over 10k lang. Kaya lang, nagamit ko recently nung nagpaayos ako ng sasakyan, eh unbudgeted yun kasi biglaan. Spent over 27k, kaya until December, wala muna akong card purchases. Hindi ko pa rin kasi bayad yung hotel namin sa HK.

i have 3 cards, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX.. ok naman lahat.. i don't carry cash.. tapos pag may purchase pay lang yung buong balance.. para walang interest.. halos 1.5 months ang revolving cycle before you pay.. just make sure kung anong card ang gagamitin.. ofcourse kailangan alam mo due dates..

I don't pay for annual fee too.. parati naman nila nirereverse.. i don't use points din.. depende siguro sa usage.. yung AMEX naman free for life ang annual fee so walang problema.

like Dvorak, i seldom carry cash sa wallet. most of the time, the most i am carrying is around 500 pesos only. all are charged via CC and are paid the next billing period.

when i changed work last month, my company is still holding my last pay. my CCs proved to be useful during the transition.

and yes, i pay my CC bills via Internet, so puro electronic lahat.

yung mga kine-claim nang ibang cc companies (especially pag gold at platinum members) na free access to vip lounge at airports, or free shuttle service fr home to airport, nagagamit ba?

paano ba magbayad ng utility bills using credit card? is this an auto payment scheme? how to set this up? by the way, I have BPI mastercard.

prinsipe, just call your CC company and enroll it. every month automatic charge na yun.

attempted this once, pero hindi ako in-allow. considering i have two international cards (Diners and Amex).

wala ako credit card pero sa nakikita ko yung mga kaibigan ko na meron ang lalakas nila gumastos tapos gagamitin lang nila yung credit card nila kaya mukhang gumagaan buhay nila, ewan ko lang sa bayaran kung nababayaran nila? hehe
