Credit card application

Guys. Need info lng kung ano ba reasons bat hindi ma approve ung credit card application. Ngtry ako mg apply sa bpi cc. Pinadalhan ako ng letter at sabi doon denied ung cc application ko but pwede raw ako mg apply ng card inwhich mgdeposit muna ako mg certain amt of money kumbaga debit card.

Yun offer nila hinde debit card but secured card. Certain Percentage ng amount deposit mo yun maging credit limit mo, and you cant touch that money for a year yata. Parang calateral Doon kukunin pag hinde ka nakabyad sa card mo.

Bad credit history or walang history Kaya na denied ka.

Walang history nga. So ano po pwede gawin to increase my chances getting a credit card from a reputable bank? Kailangan ba makapag open muna ng bank acct sa kanila?

Yup mag secured card k na lang muna and build your history after 1 year siguro mag offer Na bpi sayo ng regular CC.

Or apply ka sa lahat ng banks. Law of average Meron siguro kahit isa mag approve

talagang mahirap mag apply ng cc ngayon because of stricter BSP regulations due to higher default rate.
if you really need one, get that secured one, get a debit card or go to other banks. pero as i have said earlier, pahirapan ang magapply ng cc ngayon.

Kung wala kang history better start one. Open a savings account and dagdagan mo regularly. Notorious ang bpi at bdo na mahigpit, especially the former.

Ganyan din ako nun. Na badtrip ako so nag ipon na lang ako sa savings account and next thing I know sila na nag offer, laki pa ng credit limit.
