October 30th, 2012 12:17 AM #17For bad loans, the database is managed by BAP, Bankers Association of the Philippines. Sa credit cards, its CCAP, Credit Card Association of the Philippines. Yes, they keep it for 10 years. But if you have proof that you paid and now have good credit standing, I'd say fight for it. Show them evidence. Go to a bank that will and can fight for you to reverse your bad credit standing. If there's a will, there's a way.
Just my two cents...

October 30th, 2012 12:34 AM #18Its a type of card where your bank deposit serves as collateral. If in case you default on your payment, the bank will collect the payment from your deposit.
The credit limit is based on the deposit that serves as the colateral. If your deposit is 100k, your credit limit has a max of 100k as well.
During the whole lifecycle of the credit card, you will not be able to withdraw the colateral from your bank account
