April 15th, 2024 08:07 PM #6i-consider ko iyong simple na Dongfeng Nanobox, since same factory ng Dacia Sping na madaming benta sa Europe.
Iyon ay kung may proper parts support sa casa. Maintenance parts may stock kahit nasa main PH warehouse. Ibang parts may part number, price, qty. stock, at order info kahit nasa China na plant. Tapos may order system na tied sa delivery partner na weeks ang bilang hindi months.

April 15th, 2024 08:33 PM #7i think that's one reason why folks might be wary of taking a dip into the china cars pool.
the aftersales support. parts as well as knowledgeable mekanikos.
i mean,
what with the relatively cheaper price of china cars, i wouldn't mind owning one, if it were fairly reliable naman, and had reliable parts supply and knowledgeable mechanics to service them.Last edited by dr. d; April 15th, 2024 at 09:15 PM.

April 16th, 2024 03:12 PM #9Heck no. Why, are they way cheaper than more common (Japanese) brands with an extensive after sales support network and parts availability? I've looked at a few leaflets from some dealers and the vehicle prices are almost the same. Naku, even if the prices were 100-250k cheaper, no pa rin.
Kaya ko din naman "mag-kotse" as an enthusiast, and I buy my cars on cash basis, but pinag-iisipan and mahaba-habang usapan sa akin yan before I buy, hindi yung parang bumili lang ng candy sa sari sari store.
In my opinion, the people who buy these vehicles are either: 1) the super rich who buy and dispose lang after a few years of use (dispose as in sell off for scrap) and; 2) the profligates (i.e. those who spend money foolishly & carelessly).
Sound financial reasons lang basis ko, and nothing to do with nationalism or hatred for any country(ies).

April 18th, 2024 12:09 AM #10Another thing to consider is how reliable are they compared to the Japanese brands.
