Survey lang po?
How Often do you replace the battery on your car keys
Lagi kasing magkasama yung keys ko tsaka yung phone ko, One time napansin ko nailaw yung LED ng key fob ko pag nagtatabi sila. It does not always happen.
Kaya siguro na drain agad yung dati kong battery in less than a year, I'm thinking of annual replacement na lang para wala ng issue but I want to know kung ano experience nyo
regards

same question, since may immobilizer yun sasakyan. baka mas madalas dapat palitan ng battery? AFAIK always ON (or constant ang communication ng car and key) it once you start your engine.

It should last at least a year for Smart keys. Basic key fob remotes should last longer, in the order of 2-4 years. Mileage may vary.
But it's really easy to prepare for it. Figure out what kind of battery your key fob uses and carry a spare in the glove box or ash tray so you can replace them in the field.

yup, just keep a spare battery AND the small screw driver for opening your fob in the glove compartment. useless and spare battery kung di mo naman mabuksan yung fob.

But if you want be anal about it. Then change the battery annually. Like every end of the year. Mura Lang naman.
